PALLAS.600

Heavy payloads with long endurance — hybrid drive for deployments without charging infrastructure.

Design

Four assemblies, one platform

Every PALLAS is built from the same four assemblies: running gear, chassis, payload module and control. What changes between the sizes is their dimension, not the way they work together.

Anyone starting on one size takes the operating concept and the superstructures with them to the next.

What this platform is made of

Running gear

Four rocker arms per side, each carrying two road wheels — eight road wheels in ground contact. That is the longest contact patch in the range relative to weight.

Between the sizes the number of rocker arms and the size of the road wheels change — the drive principle stays the same.

Chassis

The frame takes the modules and carries the running gear. Dimensions and ground clearance for this size come with the quotation.

It holds

  • Drive module — motors, gearboxes, drive control over CANopen
  • Electrical module — control unit, mission computer, on-board electrics
  • Energy module — battery and charging technology, optionally with a generator for hybrid operation
  • Extension module — generator, winch, sensor box, lighting
Extensions

Payload module

Payload dimension in pallet format as from the PALLAS.150; the fastening system is being developed with the first customers.

Payload modules

Control

Three levels: basic control, a mission computer running Linux and ROS 2, or a project-specific computing layer with AI processing on board. They differ in the computing layer, not in the vehicle underneath.

A remote control for manual operation is part of every delivery, whatever the level.

Where this size is used

The application pages name the PALLAS.75 and the PALLAS.150 most often, because those are the sizes closest to delivery. Where the payload or the endurance of this size is what the job needs, it is the right one — which we settle against your deployment profile.
